Based on the play by Tennessee Williams, this renowned drama follows troubled former schoolteacher Blanche DuBois (Vivien Leigh) as she leaves small-town Mississippi and moves in with her sister, Stella Kowalski (Kim Hunter), and her husband, Stanley (Marlon Brando), in New Orleans. Blanche’s flirtatious Southern-belle presence causes problems for Stella and Stanley, who already have a volatile relationship, leading to even greater conflict in the Kowalski household.
Puppets 2.0 takes puppetry to the next level. Design and make puppets, create stories and performances with Goat on a Boats Liz Joyce in this four-week long workshop. Kids will collaborate to create a series of short videos and a live performance using, hand puppets, shadow puppets and all manner of objects that are brought to life by our puppeteers.
This popular class will explore how to expand your range and expression, sing with more freedom, gain better breath control, and learn how to take care of your voice. You will learn effective vocal warm-ups and ways to address performance anxiety. A recital for family and friends will also take place after the 4-week session.
