Drawing & Painting Workshop for Kids with Paton Miller

Paton Miller, artist, educator, and curator of East End Collected3, will be offering a drawing and painting class at Southampton Arts Center on Saturday, May 6 for children ages 8 and up.

Paton, who has been teaching for more than 35 years, says “I haven’t reinvented the wheel in drawing instruction but what I have found over the years is that my young students are able to grasp the same lessons I received while studying at academy when I was 19 years old. I see my job as making the basic cornerstones of drawing as clear as possible. The results, more than three decades of them, have been impressive.”
