Join host Dr. Georgette Grier-Key for this special celebration of the
centennial of women’s right to vote in New York State. Passages will be read
from the writings of influential women in history, including Susan B. Anthony,
Betty Shabazz, Elizabeth Cady Stanton, Coretta Scott King, and more.
Panels from a statewide exhibition, VOTES FOR WOMEN, will be on display.

Co-curated by musician and painter Scott Avett, lead singer of the folk-rock band The Avett Brothers, and David Kratz, president of the New York Academy of Art, this exhibition asks viewers to slow down and consider the story inherent in every human face.
