AN INCONVENIENT SEQUEL: Truth to Power

(Documentary · 2017 · 100 min.)

Friday, April 20 · 7 PM · $10

Presented with The Climate Reality Project

THERES STILL TIME…

A decade after AN INCONVENIENT TRUTH brought climate change into the heart of popular culture, comes the riveting and rousing follow-up that shows just how close we are to a real energy revolution. Vice President Al Gore continues his tireless fight traveling around the world training an army of climate champions and influencing international climate policy. Cameras follow him behind the scenes — in moments both private and public, funny and poignant — as he pursues the inspirational idea that while the stakes have never been higher, the perils of climate change can be overcome with human ingenuity and passion.

This screening will kick-off  Southampton Arts Center’s EARTH DAYS 2018 programming.

“Dine & Discuss” – Continue the Conversation! After each Friday night film, a local restaurant will host a communal table to allow attendees to discuss the film over dinner. Special discounts and/or a pre-fixe menu will be available. Check back for the list of participating restaurants.

Special thanks to the Earth Days 2018 committee, James Ewing, Sarah Hunnewell, Elyn Kronemeyer, and Dorothy Reilly. Extra special thank you to Tesla Motors.
