Southampton Hospital’s Tick-Borne Disease Resource Center will return to SAC for its fifth annual educational event for the public on Lyme and tick-borne disease which features expert physicians from their Medical and Scientific Advisory Panels. In addition to physicians, this year’s program will also feature a leading Entomologist who will discuss the types of ticks found on Eastern Long Island, an Allergist who is a recognized expert in the Alpha-gal meat allergy, as well as prevention strategies for saying safe while recreating and working outdoors. Presented in a panel discussion format, there will be ample time for questions from the audience.

It’s friends like you that have made the first five years of SAC so successful. Now, we are taking the opportunity to invite you to become our Friend – formally – as we launch Southampton Arts Center Friends Circle.
LIGHT OF THE OCEAN features a dynamic installation of works by Francisco Alvarado-Juárez, New York-based American artist born in Honduras. Our two main galleries have been transformed into a magical marine environment with part of the floor covered with sand, seashells and other organic materials indigenous to the East End of Long Island.
