“Out of the Question” with Warren Strugatch

Warren Strugatch’s “Out of the Question,” the conversation series where East End news makers, thought leaders, and engaged audiences tackle topical questions about national issues and local preoccupations, opens its fourth season Thursday evening May 4 at the Southampton Arts Center.

Scheduled speakers throughout the series include Eric Fischl, artist; Pamela Liebman, broker; Joseph Farrell, home builder; Eric Lemonides, restaurateur; Paul Goldberger, architecture critic; Rick Friedman, art-market entrepreneur, and many more. Topics include real estate, art, restaurants, architecture, and business & economics.

Shows take place one Thursday evening a month from May through September, starting at 7:30 pm. A light reception in Southampton Arts Center’s East Lawn follows, allowing audiences and speakers continue their conversations.

“The focus of ’Out of the Question’ is true conversation, involving our guest speakers and audience members,” said Warren Strugatch, a writer and business strategist. “Last year I was struck during the presidential campaign and election by how impoverished and devoid of true interaction the national conversation had become. My job is to bring the news-makers and thought leaders together and ask the first questions. My guests pick up the conversational ball and toss it among themselves and the audience. Together we share perspectives, expand awareness and hopefully produce conversations that engage, inspire and even make us smile.”

Tickets are $15.
