Be part of the creative process and join us for this special ongoing workshop with Fall 2018 Installation artist Francisco Alvarado-Juárez. Attendees will have the opportunity to help paint and cut hundreds of brown paper bags that will become part of his dynamic fall exhibition, Light of the Ocean.
Additional dates: Fridays, June 15, July 20, & August 17 from 2-5 PM
Bring us your shells! In addition to the paper bags being created for Light of the Ocean, we also need lots of large seashells! Shells can be dropped off outside The Studio @SAC into a dedicated bin.
With Artist-in-Residence Andrea Cote, the public will participate in collaborative printmaking and video. Participants will come together over the course of two months in a series of movement and art-making workshops culminating in a performance and large-scale tapestry.
Curated by Paton Miller, the now fourth year of this popular exhibition continues to celebrate 29 new artists, honors the collectors who have supported them, and marks Southampton Arts Center as a home where the East End arts scene can continue to thrive.
