Funky Fish Acrylic Painting
Students will create their own version of a funky fish using acrylic paint on canvas.

Wednesday, February 22, 1-3pm
Night Owls Acrylic Painting & Clay Medallion
Students will be guided on creating their own version of an owl silhouettes acrylic painting on canvas and an owl medallion made out of clay.
Thursday, February 23, 1-3pm
Multi-Medium Animal Collage
Students will create a multi-medium collage on a canvas panel using paper, paint, glue & markers.
Friday, February 24, 1-3pm
Humpback Whale Acrylic Painting & Clay Whale Sculpture
Students will learn the steps to create their own version of a whale painting and a mini whale sculpture out of clay.
Expanding the field of visual tropes, methods and materials, the 23 female artists on view will offer an artistic spectrum that ranges from the sublime to the utilitarian, from expressionism to precision, and from humor to drama. Curated by Janet Goleas.
With Artist-in-Residence Andrea Cote, the public will participate in collaborative printmaking and video. Participants will come together over the course of two months in a series of movement and art-making workshops culminating in a performance and large-scale tapestry.
