National Geographic Photo Ark by Joel Sartore

The International Center of Photography and Southampton Arts Center are thrilled to co-present the National Geographic Photo Ark exhibition this summer, featuring the compelling and visually stunning work of National Geographic photographer and Fellow Joel Sartore. The exhibition will highlight Sartore’s images from his work in more than 250 zoos, aquariums and animal rescue centers around the world.
This exhibition is made possible by the Harbers Family Foundation and Renee Harbers and Chris Liddell and is organized and traveled by the National Geographic Society.
NOTE: Galleries will be closed on Saturday, July 27 and Thursday, August 29

Kids Wildlife Sketching Workshop in the Galleries
Bring your kids for a special 90-minute sketching session in the Photo Ark galleries with East Hampton artist Scott Bluedorn, known for his elaborate marine life drawings.
All levels encouraged. Materials will be provided.

Birding Talk & Walk with SOFO's Frank Quevedo at the Long Pond Greenbelt Nature Center
The woods, fields, wetlands and surface waters of the Long Pond Greenbelt provide nesting, foraging, and resting habitat for a rich diversity of avian life. More than 125 species of birds regularly use the Greenbelt for all or part of the year. Join us, as Frank Quevedo of SOFO presents a power point presentation on the various bird species found in this magnificent habitat. The talk will be followed by a leisurely walk from the nature center down to Crooked Pond to observe some bird life. Bring your binoculars!

World Music on the Steps: Yacouba Sissoko
World Music on the Steps with The Jam Session of the Hamptons returns for another summer of live music with musicians from our local and global community. The world-class performances have experience especially designed to showcase the diversity of music, appealing to adults and children alike as they pass by. These informal concerts take place on the front steps of SAC every Sunday from 2 to 4 PM from July 7 through September 1.
