SAC Community Art Share - A Virtual Exhibition

Art Heals - Be Creative! The entry period for "SAC Community Art Share" has come to a close and we can how present the final "show" with 160 pieces! Our galleries may be temporarily closed, but that won’t stop us from exhibiting artwork. During this time of social distancing we encouraged you to tap into your creativity – paint, draw, sculpt, photograph nature, make a video – whatever inspires and excites you! Then you shared the images of your work so we could post them online and on our social media platforms to make everyone’s worlds a little brighter!

Southampton Village is Open for Business

We often say "it takes a village", and those words have never been more true today. Southampton Arts Center would like to take a moment to acknowledge and thank the local businesses that remain open to serve our community during this challenging time. We hope you will remain at home as much as possible, but if you need to venture out, please consider supporting our neighbors.

Purchase PAUSE AT HOME Portraits to Benefit Hamptons Arts Network

The Hamptons Arts Network is working with the artist Philippe Cheng to take commissions of Pause At Home—family, individual, or essential worker portraits—as an important record of our community living through the COVID-19 pandemic. A portfolio of all commissioned portraits will become part of the collections of East Hampton Historical Society, Eastville Community Historical Society, and Southampton History Museum as a means to gather and preserve information for future researchers. The option to pay for a portrait of a health worker, essential worker, civil servant, or a gift for another person or family, is available. Proceeds, after production expenses, go directly to support the 19 members organizations of the Hamptons Arts Network, a consortium of not-for-profit organizations working together to create a unified arts community of the Hamptons.
