JAZZ ON THE STEPS: Bob Hovey and Stan Wright

Every Sunday, July 1 through September 2 | 2-4 PM | FREE

Jazz on the Steps with The Jam Session returns for another summer of live music with musicians from our local and global community. The world-class performances have experience especially designed to showcase the diversity of jazz, appealing to adults and children alike. These informal concerts take place on the front steps of SAC every Sunday from 2 to 4 PM from July 1 through September 2. Note that there is no performance on Sunday, July 22, but it will take place instead on Saturday, July 21 from 11 AM to 1 PM.

7/15: John Ludlow on Sax and Peter Weiss on Bass

7/29: Dan Lauter on Sax and Stan Wright on Bass

8/5: Bob Hovey Trombone and Stan Wright on Bass

8/12: Bob Hovey on Trombone and Stan Wright on Guitar

8/19: Yacouba Sissoko on Kora

8/26: Bill Smith on Piano and Morris Goldberg on Sax/Penny whistle

9/2: Dan Lauter on Sax and Jeff Marshall on Percussion

National Geographic Photo Ark by Joel Sartore

The International Center of Photography and Southampton Arts Center are thrilled to co-present the National Geographic Photo Ark exhibition this summer, featuring the compelling and visually stunning work of National Geographic photographer and Fellow Joel Sartore. The exhibition will highlight Sartore’s images from his work in more than 250 zoos, aquariums and animal rescue centers around the world. This exhibition is made possible by the Harbers Family Foundation and Renee Harbers and Chris Liddell and is organized and traveled by the National Geographic Society. NOTE: Galleries will open at 1 PM on Saturday, August 24 and will be closed on Saturday, July 27 and Thursday, August 29
