ICP Photography Workshop: Photographing Beachscapes and Light
Light on the beach can be a dramatic experience as the changing light and weather conditions interact with the distant horizon to create a dramatic backdrop, as sand, water, air, and sky set a mysterious stage for a variety of photographic subjects. In this two-hour, one-day workshop instructed by ICP Faculty Lynn Saville, students develop their power of observation to create stunning photographs at the beach in Southampton. We photograph people engaged in a variety of activities, changes in the water and sky, and more. Participants also learn techniques of composition and changing light colors and contrasts.
