ART HEALS

When life is on pause, art can heal. We have no choice. Pause we must. So, together, let’s make this moment meaningful. Since our doors opened, Southampton Arts Center has been deeply committed to community building through the arts. We are humbled that in a few short years SAC has transformed into a vital gathering spot for all members of our community.

Acknowledging that all sectors of our economy are facing challenges, we are respectfully asking for your help as well. If you are in a position to support the critical on-going needs of Southampton Arts Center during this time and can make a tax-deductible contribution, we hope you will do so.

Resource List for Artist Grants

We want to be able to serve as a resource for all artists during these difficult times. For those of you working in visual, performing, literary, or any other arts-related field – whether as the maker, administrator, technician, or other role – there are options out there to help you.

The Willem de Kooning Foundation, the Helen Frankenthaler Foundation, Teiger Foundation, and the Cy Twombly Foundation, as part of their respective COVID-19 relief efforts, have established an emergency relief grant program that will provide $1,250,000 in aid to Tri-State non-salaried workers in the visual arts who have experienced financial hardship from lack of income or opportunity as a direct result of the COVID-19 crisis. The program, initiated by The Willem de Kooning Foundation, will be administered in partnership with NYFA.
