Southampton Arts Center will once again present the popular Raconteurs Storytelling Evening, this time with the theme of “LOVE” in celebration of Valentine’s Day. Each participant will tell a true story about love or something related to love – happy, sad, sweet, bitter. These short and sweet tales are sure to make you laugh and cry. So bring your special someones for this not to be missed event.

Inspired by the Black Lives Matter movement we have organized a special day to celebrate unity and support the diverse members of our community. The event will include live performances on the outdoor stage from Certain Moves, Winston Irie and Selective Security Band, and Project Vibe, additional music on the lawn between concerts, representation from various organizations, retailers, food vendors and more, inspiring speakers, art projects, and a special educational and eye-opening installation in the studio.

The Scofflaws are a Huntington, Long Island, New York-based third wave ska band that debuted in 1988. Known for their rambunctious live shows, technically proficient horn solos and tight arrangements, The Scofflaws were one of the top third wave ska acts of the ’90s and one of the most beloved bands on the now-defunct Moon Ska label, as well as the center and focal point of the once-thriving Long Island ska scene.

THIS CONCERT IS NOW AT FULL CAPACITY AS SPACE IS LIMITED DUE TO NEW YORK STATE GATHERING GUIDELINES. ADVANCE RESERVATIONS WERE STRONGLY RECOMMENDED TO GUARANTEE ADMISSION. If you decide to come without a reservation you will have to wait on standby until 5:55 PM to see if there are no-shows allowing for more to enter the grounds.

COVID-19 – What to Expect:  There will be no restrooms available for use during outdoor programs. Attendees are required to wear masks at all times (except when eating), and to place themselves at the orange markers which will be installed every 10 feet on the grounds in order to enforce social distancing guidelines.

SOLD OUT – OUTDOOR CONCERT: The HooDoo Loungers

Bring chairs, blankets, picnics, and your dancin’ shoes!

It’s always Mardi Gras for the New York City revelers, The HooDoo Loungers, dubbed the East Coast’s New Orleans Party band. The HooDoo’s are a nine piece band performing music inspired by the rhythms, sounds, history and spirit of New Orleans. The band’s sound encompasses traditional New Orleans Jazz, Brass Band, classic R&B and funk – a blend of original music and re-arranged New Orleans classics. The HooDoo’s perform a high energy and highly entertaining show that will please young and old alike.
