One of Quogue Wildlife Refuge’s experts will bring along some of their animal ambassadors and will lead a tour focusing on the species living at the Quogue center. Get up close and personal with these beautiful creatures and learn about what makes them so special and vital to our ecosystem.
After a successful debut in May, Southampton Arts Center will once again present the popular Raconteurs Storytelling Evening, this time with the theme of “Secrets”. Each participant will tell a true story about a secret of their own. These short and sweet tales are sure to make you laugh and cry.

Professor Alan Calder, Stony Brook University Dept. of Physics & Astronomy, will discuss whether Betelgeuse, the star in Orion’s shoulder, will become a Type 1a supernovae and what we know about such events. Weather permitting, celestial observing through telescopes may follow.
