National Geographic Photo Ark by Joel Sartore

The International Center of Photography and Southampton Arts Center are thrilled to co-present the National Geographic Photo Ark exhibition this summer, featuring the compelling and visually stunning work of National Geographic photographer and Fellow Joel Sartore. The exhibition will highlight Sartore’s images from his work in more than 250 zoos, aquariums and animal rescue centers around the world.

This exhibition is made possible by the Harbers Family Foundation and Renee Harbers and Chris Liddell and is organized and traveled by the National Geographic Society.

NOTE: Galleries will be closed on Saturday, July 27 and Thursday, August 29

A Design Dream Team – Kelly Behun, Ed Hollander and James Merrell

The dream team of AD100 honorees interior designer Kelly Behun and landscape architect Edmund Hollander, and architect James Merrell pull aside the curtain on what it really takes to create a beautifully integrated home – from the inside out, and the outside in.  Learn how this pro trio, which is the cornerstone of every significant residential project, merge design aesthetics and integrate important art collections into the design scheme to create a unified realization of the hopes and dreams of the most important member of the team – the client.

Joel Sartore Book Signing in the PHOTO ARK Galleries

National Geographic PHOTO ARK creator Joel Sartore returns to SAC! The world-renowned wildlife photographer will be signing his books in the galleries on Saturday, August 24 from 2-3 PM.

You can bring your own books or Photo Ark ($35), Birds of the Photo Ark ($30) and Animal Ark Children’s Book ($16) will be available for purchase, first come first served.

THIS JUST IN…Southampton Arts Center will be the VERY FIRST to get Joel Sartore’s newest book THE PHOTO ARK: VANISHING, which is released to the public on September 10. A limited number of copies will be available for purchase  at $40.

THIS JUST IN…Joel Sartore, the world-renowned wildlife photographer, conservationist, and creator of the PHOTO ARK returns to SAC for an encore presentation of his not-to-be missed illustrated talk which inspired SAC and ICP to present the exhibition on view.

World Music on the Steps: Jeff Marshall & Claes Brondal

World Music on the Steps with The Jam Session of the Hamptons returns for another summer of live music with musicians from our local and global community. The world-class performances have experience especially designed to showcase the diversity of music, appealing to adults and children alike as they pass by. These informal concerts take place on the front steps of SAC every Sunday from 2 to 4 PM from July 7 through September 1.
