Southampton Arts Center is the local hub of all things art in the Village of Southampton. Located at 25 Jobs Lane, we’re just a short walk away from historic Main Street, Southampton.
We are committed to building an inclusive, multimedia arts and culture center. Annually, we present 4+ exhibitions and 150 programs annually with and for our community. With exhibitions collaborating with artists of all mediums to community programming, there is no shortage of things to see and do.

PREPARE FOR YOUR VISIT
SAC accepts both credit card and cash sales.
With the exception of water, no food or drink is permitted in the galleries.
Smoking and vaping are not permitted anywhere in the museum or on the grounds.
Drawing and writing in the galleries is encouraged but limited to the use of pencils only. Charcoal, pastels, pens, permanent markers, watercolor, and oil paints are prohibited unless in a studio setting.
With the exception of trained service animals, pets are not permitted inside the building. Leashed pets are welcome on the outdoor lawns.
Photography and videography for personal, non-commercial use are permitted and encouraged. Flash photography and the use of a tripod are prohibited. No photographs or videos may be reproduced, distributed, or sold without written permission from Southampton Arts Center.
Compact strollers are permitted in the galleries.
Children are welcome, but must be attended by an adult.
In consideration of others, we ask that visitors refrain from using cell phones.

The Southampton Arts Center is committed to ensuring the facility and exhibitions is accessible to all individuals.
A wheelchair accessible entrance can be found on our East Lawn. Please use the ringer, and we will escort you inside the building.

Southampton Arts Center’s main entrance can be found on 25 Jobs Lane.
Theater and Wheelchair entrance can be found on our East Lawn.
For programs accessed through the Studio, the entrance can be found on our West Lawn.

Jobs Lane parking may be metered or have limited time between the hours of 9 AM to 5 PM.
The public parking lot behind SAC is free to visitors, but may be limited during the high season.

Unless noted, photography using a camera or phone by use of natural light in the gallery is permitted.
Please note, the use of flash photography is not permitted on site.
Reproduction or sale of photographs are not permitted unless permission is granted by SAC.
No photography or filming is allowed during film showings in our theaters.
For certain talks, photography and filming is not permitted. Please note: SAC is committed to recording many of our theater programming which can be found on our Vimeo and YouTube channels.

Suffolk County Transit Bus: Route 92 from Orient Point to Riverhead to East Hampton Train Station drops riders off at Southampton Town Hall - just a few minutes walk from SAC. For more information on local stops, please see here.
Hampton Jitney: For service between the two Forks and the NYC Metro, the Hampton Jitney’s Southampton stop is a mere 5 minutes from Main Street, Southampton and SAC. For more information on the local stop, please see here.
Hampton Luxury Liner: For service between the South Fork and the NYC Metro, Hampton Luxury Liner’s stop in Southampton can be found at the LIRR railway station at 40 Powell Ave, Southampton NY.
