OUTCROPPING -
INDIGENOUS ART NOW
FEBRUARY 4 - APRIL 10, 2022
CURATED BY JEREMY DENNIS
OUTCROPPING - Indigenous Art Now, a multimedia exhibition, celebrates contemporary Shinnecock artists along with Indigenous artists from an array of unique sovereign nations throughout the United States. The exhibition will address Native issues across the county, highlighting shared and individual triumphs and struggles. The title 'Outcropping' refers to Shinnecock's translation into English as 'People of the Stony Shore' and Shinnecock's long connection to this land.
