Warren transferred the role to Broadway following the 2018 West End production, for which she earned 2019 Olivier, Evening Standard, and Joe Allen Award nominations. In 2023, she was featured on PBS’s annual “A Capitol Fourth”, performing a tribute to the late Tina Turner.
Warren’s feature film credits include Rustin with Coleman Domingo and The Woman King with Viola Davis. She starred in Hulu’s Black Cake and as Mamie Till- Mobley in Women of the Movement on ABC. Other TV and film credits include Paws & Fury: The Legend of Hank, Helpsters, Quantico, Black Box, Blue Bloods and Orange is the New Black.
Warren is also the co-founder of the Broadway Advocacy Coalition (BAC), which unites artists, experts, students, and community leaders to use storytelling and artistry to combat systemic racism. She will next return to Broadway opposite Nick Jonas in The Last Five Years.
Jessica Vosk recently starred in the MUNY premiere of Waitress as Jenna and has developed the role of CeeCee Bloom in the musical adaptation of Beaches, in its international pre-Broadway premiere in Calgary. Jessica is best known for her star-turn as Elphaba in Wicked, both on tour and in the 15th Anniversary Broadway company. Broadway credits include Fiddler on the Roof, Finding Neverland, and The Bridges of Madison County, as well as Sarah Silverman’s Bedwetter at Atlantic Theatre Company. As a successful concert artist, Jessica completed her first 25-city solo tour in 2022/23 after her sold out Carnegie Hall debut in 2021 and an immediate invitation to return in 2022 in celebration of July Garland’s 100th Anniversary. Having started with a career in finance, her one-of-a-kind story was covered by ABC’s 20/20 and NBC Nightly News. She is currently recording two new albums. Follow for updates: @jessicavosk.
This upcoming season, she will continue to tour her solo show and will be featured in holiday concerts with the National Symphony (December 5-7), Houston Symphony (Dec 12-15), and the New York Pops at Carnegie Hall (December 20-21).
This year’s SummerFest takes place during Couples Squared, the groundbreaking exhibition, which will be guest curated by Phyllis Tuchman and on view from July 27th through September 14th. The exhibition will focus on couples past and present including husbands and wives and partners, who inspire one another. All of the couples presented in this exhibition were brought together by art and chose to join their domestic and family life with their creative output and profession. Examining the influences within these partnerships, differing arrangements can be seen, from deliberately collaborative to unexpectedly subconscious.
The proceeds of this event allow SAC to provide four world-class exhibitions and 150 programs annually. Yearly, SAC welcomes over 45,000 visitors who enjoy film, music, dance, theater, children’s events, talks, wellness programs, and workshops. These programs advance our mission of community building through the arts and support our local businesses, increasing the vitality of our beautiful village.
This year’s SummerFest host committee includes Ann and Keith Barish, Gigi and Harry Benson, April Gornik and Eric Fischl, Kim Heirston, Sylvia Hemingway, Chris and Richard Mack, Fern Mallis, Mayor Bill Manger, Margo Nederlander, Zibby and Kyle Owens, Nicole and Allen Salmasi, Stefano Tonchi, Helena and Rob Vahradian, Marcy and Michael Warren and Bettina Zilkha.
