Southampton Arts Center’s Second Annual Summer Cocktail Party,Whimsy: A Garden Soirée, Successfully Kicks Off The Season

On Saturday, June 25, Southampton Arts Center [SAC – southamptonartscenter.org] hosted its second annual summer cocktail party, Whimsy: A Garden Soirée, against the backdrop of its new sculpture garden exhibition. More than 300 of Southampton’s prominent philanthropists, artists, and residents gathered to make this fundraising effort a great success. Guests enjoyed gourmet fare from Acquolina and cocktails from Highclere Castle gin, while listening to swing jazz by the Frank Vignola Trio. The event, which supports SAC’s mission of community building through the arts, was generously supported by Frances Valentine, Gardeneering, Hamptons Fashion Week, Highclere Castle Gin, Libéllule/Textures Atelier, and Purist.

“What a magical evening in our sculpture garden,” shared Southampton Arts Center trustee and event chair Elyn Kronemeyer. “The music, food, and gorgeous flowers transported us all to the south of France for the night! We are grateful for the generous support of our hosts, sponsors, and all who turned out to celebrate the beginning of our summer season. Everyone is invited to join us as we embark upon an exciting summer of music, art, film, and dance.”
