"We are thrilled to host Whimsy Motown Magic. As one of the most talked about summer parties, this fundraising event allows all ages to enjoy outstanding libations and entertainment while supporting Southampton Arts Center. This year, we are excited to present a cocktail and dance party catered by Robbins Wolfe with live music by That Motown Band. We invite everyone to wear their grooviest attire—think bold colors, fun patterns, and vintage '60s and '70s styles—to embrace the spirit of the evening fully. Join us for an unforgettable night of fun!" shares SAC trustee and event chair Elyn Kronemeyer. “It will be a party with an accessible ticket price. This is a wonderful way to support Southampton Arts Center, a touchstone for Southampton's arts. We offer free admission to our galleries and numerous events and programs throughout the year. I’m grateful to the Whimsy committee who have contributed their time and energy to make this one of the best parties of the summer.”
“Whimsy is the perfect opportunity for everyone to come together and celebrate the beginning of the summer season. Southampton Arts Center’s mission is to build community through the arts, and we have been doing that for eleven years,” shares SAC executive director Christina Mossaides Strassfield. “Whimsy is the cocktail party that brings that community together to celebrate all the arts and our vibrant arts center in the heart of our beautiful village. We look forward to dancing the night away!”
This event is generously supported by Gardeneering, Highclere Castle Gin, Kidd Squid Brewing Company, Montaukila Tequila, Rickshaw Cold Brew, Topiaire Flower Shop, Robbins Wolfe, and Wolffer Estate Vineyard, with media support from Purist.
